Short-term stay

At AVIVA Woodlands, we provide caregiver support and rehabilitation services through respite care— a short-term living arrangement for seniors.

If your loved one is recovering from a hospital stay or surgery, we have the resources to support them in a safe, secure environment. Respite care can also provide temporary relief for caregivers, and is a great opportunity to try out a senior living community and make sure it’s a good fit for your loved one. Our respite care services are available for a variety of care levels.

I got a virtual tour of the Woodlands and loved it. The building is beautiful. I got to talk to several staff members during the tour (unusual for virtual tour) and they all seemed terrific. The food menus looked good enough to almost make me want to move there. I looked at a studio apartment and it was HUGE! It was basically a one bedroom minus one wall. I felt like they were very engaged with their residents and it had opened up their dining room enough that residents could at least sit and talk to each other (with plenty of safety precautions) while eating. I wouldn’t have any qualms about bringing a loved one here.

I work at The Woodlands at Hillcrest in positions as both a cook and a dining room server. I have the opportunity to see both the social dining side and the culinary side of the residents meal experiences. In the kitchen, all of the food is made from scratch and is wonderful. There are many different entrees to choose from and the menu changes weekly. The dining room has a very comfortable and positive feel to it that all of the residents seem to really enjoy. I am very proud to be part of the team and family here at this facility.
